FRESNO – Today, The Fresno Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce formally announced their endorsement of Congressman David G. Valadao during a joint press conference in Fresno.

“The Fresno Chamber is happy to once again endorse David Valadao for Congress in California’s 21st Congressional District,” said Nathan Ahle, Fresno Chamber President and CEO. “When it comes to important Valley issues like ag, energy, and water, David has always been a leader. He has worked in a bipartisan way to help shape policy that will protect and benefit our members and the Central Valley’s economy. We support his re-election campaign and look forward to continuing to work with him to benefit our local economy.”

“David has been a steadfast advocate for the Central Valley – while other politicians are focused on the next soundbite, David is committed to finding solutions. We appreciate the Congressman’s work on water, air quality and infrastructure issues, and we look forward to working with him in the next Congress,” stated Nick Ortiz, President and CEO of the Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce.

“We’re proud to be in the Central Valley alongside the Fresno and Bakersfield Chambers to put our full support behind David Valadao,” said Jennings Imel, Executive Director of the Western Region for the US Chamber. “As a dairy farmer with lifelong roots in the Central Valley, David has been a champion of policies that create jobs, economic growth, and opportunities for folks in the 21st district. He’s leading the fight to cut regulatory red tape, improve our aging water infrastructure, and reform our broken immigration system.”

Congressman David Valadao said, “As a small business owner I am extremely proud to receive not only the endorsement of the United States Chamber of Commerce, but our local Chambers as well. Our local businesses are the backbone of our economy and allow Valley workers to provide for their families. I’m honored to receive their support today.”
