Candidate living in CA-16 found raising money in the Bay Area over the weekend
Hanford, Calif. – Last Monday, Congressman David G. Valadao challenged out-of-town candidate TJ Cox to two televised debates in English and Spanish.
Meanwhile, Cox has been spotted a few places – including a fundraiser and meet and greet in Palo Alto on Saturday. What he hasn’t managed to do is confirm for his attendance in the two televised debates.
“You can find Mr. Cox in all sorts of places, including Palo Alto,” Valadao spokesman Cole Rojewski said. “But his failure to accept Congressman Valadao’s debate invitation and explain to voters why he’s raised 110 times more money in the Bay Area than in the district he wishes to represent speaks volumes about this candidate.”
Congressman Valadao challenged Mr. Cox to two, one-hour debates in English and Spanish on KGET, KSEE, and Telemundo. You can find the format and rules for the debates here.
